Here are the best foods to eat for a flatter waistline and faster six pack:
Whey Protein – Whey is a quickly digestible source of protein that can be consumed post workout or as a mid day brunch. Whey can be mixed into smoothies for a protein rich breakfast, post workout drink or mid day top up. Ensure you don’t buy the concentrate protein powder though as it is far less effective.
Healthy fat – Sounds a bit like a joke, right? You want to get rid of fat not eat more of it. However , study after study has suggested that people whose diets are rich in ‘healthy ‘ fats are more healthful.
We are talking about fish, flax seeds and tropical oils like coconut, palm and olive oil. These foods contain omega fatty acids which are excellent for reducing swelling and improving your body’s functions.
Here are a few other healthy, flat gut, foods to keep on hand:
* Eggs – a fantastic source of protein and at the heart of any quality six pack diet plan
* Salsa – an easy way to jazz up several meals and a serving of vegetables
* Fresh nuts and peanut butter – healthy fats and rich in protein
* Vegetables, – enough said. They fill you up, provide heaps of essential vitamins and are very good for you
* Vinegar and oil salad dressing – to dress those veggies if you are so inclined. Don’t buy it though, make your own so you get the exact taste you want. Simply mix balsamic vinigers with olive oil
* Buffalo meat is loaded in protein and low in fat.
