I hate to admit it, but I’m a big Harry Potter fan. I’m a big grownup too. I am having trouble deciding whether I like the books or the movies better. The books are a great read and really tax your imagination, especially prior to the release of the Harry Potter movies. You had to imagine what Dumbledore looked like as well as all the other characters. J.K. Rowling makes that an easy task though, with her descriptions.
With a book, there’s something special about heading to Barnes and Noble for the latest release, standing in line, and getting your hands on a big, juicy copy. Then you can take it home and curl up for a few nights for a good read. Then you would wait for the next installment.
Now, with the Nook and Nook color, you don’t have to stand in line to wait for your copy. You can easily and instantly download the books. You can now get the whole series. Some people really miss the feel of the actual book, but it doesn’t take long to latch on to the ease and coolness factor that comes with the nook.
So, whether you’re reading Deathly Hallows on your nook, or watching the last movie, savor it; it’s the final chapter. But know that you can always go back and re-read the books on your nook or watch the Harry Potter movies again and again.
